An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Amorim in the 11th minute of play forced Urmal FC's goalkeeper Daniel Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Martins in the 15th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Charnequinha FC's Bruno Amorim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Bruno Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Lúcio Martins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Delgado. Lúcio Martins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Afonso Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Daniel Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Lúcio Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urmal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Charnequinha FC's Afonso Maia got a free kick in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Urmal FC's zone, Bruno Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Delgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Lúcio Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charnequinha FC's Ricardo Delgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
