Diamantino Machado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abel Aleixo came out and tried to block the shot, but Diamantino Machado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. Álvaro Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Neves in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Heitor Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álvaro Coelho was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Fábio Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The wind increased when Filipe Amaral made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Filipe Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Filipe Amaral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Álvaro Coelho. Filipe Amaral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heitor Neves got free with Álvaro Coelho in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Álvaro Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Diamantino Machado came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Machado couldn't finish the play. 3-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Cláudio Freitas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rapos FC's Marco Matos got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Heitor Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Heitor Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
