Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pindelo's José Barbosa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Albertino Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magros and the Pindelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Magros got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Araújo. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Magros's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavo Gueifão was slow to take the kick. During this time Pindelo's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Pindelo's Gustavo Gueifão to fire away a dangerous shot which Viriato Gueifão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pindelo's Vicente Trindade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Pindelo from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute Miguel Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pindelo booed when Magros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, David Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magros's Viriato Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Cabral in the 19th minute of play. José Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Miguel Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Magros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Ramos couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Magros's Miguel Ramos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vicente Trindade. Vicente Trindade yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Vítor Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Ramos struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Vicente Trindade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magros. When Álvaro Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Magros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Amaro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pindelo booed when Magros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, one of Pindelo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pindelo. Vicente Trindade had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Gabriel Leão's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Viriato Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Barbosa in the 73rd minute of the match. Magros's Miguel Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ramos in the 83rd minute of the match. David Cabral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Viriato Gueifão made a huge save. If Álvaro Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Miguel Ramos notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Pindelo's Vicente Trindade. Vicente Trindade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vicente Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álvaro Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Trindade having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play Magros's Albertino Araújo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Albertino Araújo hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Magros fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pindelo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
