Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Penamacor's Vicente Freitas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vicente Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Neto hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes, SC Penamacor's Abel Almeida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Cabral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Penamacor reached it. Fernando Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Carlos Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Cabral having to interfere. Vicente Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Carlos Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Cabral having to interfere. Vicente Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Carlos Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Duarte Paredes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Abel Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfarelos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Assis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfarelos FC's Paulo Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Cabral having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Neto in the 39th minute of play forced SC Penamacor's goalkeeper Duarte Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Óscar Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, SC Penamacor's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Assis came free, but Duarte Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Marques in the 45th minute of play. Vicente Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Carlos Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Assis made a kick off. If Fernando Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Neto during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Alfarelos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Neto. Abel Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Duarte Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfarelos FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vicente Freitas 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. 77 minutes into the match, Alfarelos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Freitas came free, but Carlos Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Alfarelos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Ramos to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match, Fernando Marques got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Cabral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 92 minutes into the game, Paulo Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Duarte Paredes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Marques in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Penamacor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
