Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorge Brito got the match started through his kick off. Jorge Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Barbosa having to interfere. Miguel Resende charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Resende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Satao FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Friande:s goal. In the 17th minute, Cristiano Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Armindo Trindade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Assis. Satao FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armindo Trindade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Raul Assis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Trindade's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. When Armindo Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Satao FC's protests and gave Armindo Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Friande booed when Satao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bernardo Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Friande's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Assis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Barbosa having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Jorge Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Jaime Borges ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Manuel Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Sá stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, SC Friande's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Brito came free, but Manuel Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jaime Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manuel Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Brito in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Satao FC's goalkeeper Raul Assis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armindo Trindade. If Jaime Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Armindo Trindade's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Raul Assis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Armindo Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Assis having to interfere. When Armindo Trindade came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SC Friande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armindo Trindade couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Brito in the 94th minute of play forced SC Friande's goalkeeper Manuel Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jaime Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
