David Fontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Lisboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Fontes ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Baptista in the 36th minute of the match. Simão Miranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Queirós went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
