Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Humberto Paredes started the match with the kick off. Joaquim Figueiredo came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diamantino Garcia could save by the left post. In the 5th match minute, SC Alvendre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Vieira to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, SC Alvendre's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Aleixo came free, but Inácio Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Esfrega FC's Eduardo Trindade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inácio Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquim Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Diamantino Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Vasco Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esfrega FC's Diamantino Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Esfrega FC from getting a goal against them. Eduardo Trindade scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inácio Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Trindade to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes SC Alvendre got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Branco. Joaquim Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Diamantino Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alvendre. After 66 minutes of play SC Alvendre's David Vieira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Figueiredo in the 73rd minute of play forced Esfrega FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Esfrega FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
