In the 3rdth minute of the game Fernando Pacheco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burguete's Vasco Amaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Diamantino Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Leal struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Vasco Amaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laurentim FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Pacheco in the 18th minute of play forced Burguete's goalkeeper Vasco Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Amaro in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário Ferro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Carneiro got free with Vasco Amaro in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Laurentim FC's zone, Francisco Assunção stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mário Ferro came out of the goal and Francisco Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 played minutes Laurentim FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Leal. After a rather tough play, Laurentim FC's Inácio Coelho got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Paulo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Pacheco made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Diamantino Amaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diamantino Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Amaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Pacheco's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Diamantino Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Burguete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Amaro couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute Diamantino Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Eusébio Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Laurentim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Amaro came free, but Mário Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Carneiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasco Amaro having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Fernando Pacheco made a precise shot to the right of Vasco Amaro. Burguete's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Burguete players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Laurentim FC.
