Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Fernandes started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Aivado's Tiago Ferro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Maia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Perre's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Fernandes came free, but Domingos Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Domingos Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aivado. In the 11th minute, Gil Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Joel Faro in the 13th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the João Luz's left hand side. After 17 played minutes, Perre's Oliveira Barbosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Luz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Perre reached it. Mário Borba hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélder Vieira during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aivado's João Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Baptista in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Baptista in the 32nd minute of play forced Aivado's goalkeeper João Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when Paulo Fernandes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Paulo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aivado's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Maia charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Maia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Perre getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. João Maia hit a great ball. Tiago Ferro might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Ferro ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Luz having to make a save. João Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Luz having to interfere. Rui Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Luz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aivado's David Moniz got a free kick in the 64th minute. Rui Morais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, João Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Aivado's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Morais came free, but João Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aivado's goalkeeper couldn't reach when João Baptista 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. João Baptista received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Luz came out and tried to block the shot, but João Baptista slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Aivado's goalkeeper João Luz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domingos Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Ferro in the 93rd minute of the match. Domingos Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Perre's João Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Luz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Aivado fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Perre were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
