Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Baptista kicked off to start the match. Domingos Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 minutes, João Baptista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perre and the Quintiao players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perre's goalkeeper Domingos Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, Quintiao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Simões to maneuver through the defense. Perre's Rui Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, João Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perre's supporters rose to their feet, but João Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Quintiao's Cláudio Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Baptista in the 25th minute of play. Cláudio Araújo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Nascimento made a kick off. Cláudio Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Baptista in the 55th minute of play. When João Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Perre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Baptista couldn't finish the play. When Alfredo Alves came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Quintiao fans jumped to their feet. Rui Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cláudio Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Quintiao's goal looked a bit too open when João Baptista came free, but Cláudio Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Simão Simões could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Domingos Maia however easily saved by the left post. In the 82nd match minute, Perre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Castro to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Perre's Domingos Maia got control of the ball when Alfredo Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rui Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perre were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Quintiao for a fine match.
