Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Costa took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Jorge Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Silva in the 16th minute of play forced SC Soalheira's goalkeeper Catarino Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Queirós having to interfere. In the 25th minute Ricardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Ricardo Silva notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Soalheira's Catarino Pinto. Catarino Pinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Ricardo Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Catarino Pinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. SC Esposada's José Aleixo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half SC Esposada were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, José Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Esposada's supporters rose to their feet, but José Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Catarino Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Catarino Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Aleixo in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paiva in the 80th minute of play forced SC Esposada's goalkeeper João Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, José Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Esposada's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Aleixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game José Aleixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Soalheira's Catarino Pinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Paiva in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. David Bessa charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Bessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Soalheira's David Bessa got a free kick in the 96th minute.
