Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaspar Aleixo kicked off to start the match. Gaspar Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Gaspar Aleixo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the SC Almoriz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Aleixo couldn't finish the play. Filipe Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Aleixo in the 24th minute of play. David Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Reis in the 26th minute of play. With his leg David Pereira managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when SC Picao's Ricardo Moutinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Raul Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Aleixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Picao's goalkeeper Filipe Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vítor Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Gaspar Aleixo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Picao's Filipe Queirós. Filipe Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Reis was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Almoriz's zone, Raul Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Pereira came out of the goal and Raul Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Ricardo Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, SC Almoriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Reis in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, SC Picao's Vítor Porto got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Pedro Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Baptista's late challenge caught a SC Picao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Almoriz booed when SC Picao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rodrigo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, SC Picao's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rodrigo Delgado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. David Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. SC Almoriz's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
