Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiago Torres started the match with the kick off. If Albertino Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Amieiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Torres came free, but Abel Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Amieiro FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gustavo Sousa hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Amieiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Brito came free, but Abel Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Ferro hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Lourenço Brito hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Manuel Brito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Abreu. Amieiro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abel Abreu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Torres's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Ferro to make the kick off. Gache's Pedro Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Ferro in the 52nd minute of play. Tiago Torres was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Gache's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vítor Correia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Abel Abreu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Gache's zone, Albertino Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Vaz came out of the goal and Albertino Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. But to his dismay, Albertino Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 80 minutes into the game, João Ferro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pedro Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Torres in the 84th minute of play forced Amieiro FC's goalkeeper Abel Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If João Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Gache's goal looked a bit too open when João Ferro came free, but Pedro Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amieiro FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
