Artur Delgado was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Manuel Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Simões having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Bento Gomes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Delfim Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Artur Delgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Leite went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Artur Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Gilvrazinos FC's Delfim Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Monteiro in the 36th minute of play. If Artur Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inácio Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Artur Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Leite in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Manuel Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Pelariga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Macedo came free, but Artur Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pelariga FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. João Nascimento was slow to take the kick. During this time Gilvrazinos FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pelariga FC's goalie and right to Lucas Miranda. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pelariga FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 57th minute, Artur Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Pelariga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Faro to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pelariga FC's goalkeeper Artur Delgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Macedo in the 63rd minute of play. If Artur Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pelariga FC booed when Gilvrazinos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bento Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Delfim Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Costa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Bento Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute, Manuel Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pelariga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 82nd minute of the match Vítor Ramos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Delgado skillfully saved the ball. Artur Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Delgado having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Pelariga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gilvrazinos FC booed when Pelariga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilvrazinos FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pelariga FC to leave the ground with a draw.
