Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raul Ferreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Raul Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bicheiro's Manuel Faria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Bicheiro from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the game, Afonso Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bicheiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montes FC the free kick. In the 10th minute, Afonso Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Raul Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bicheiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. António Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. António Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Faro in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Montes FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Vítor Gonçalves hit a great ball. Henrique Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. António Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bicheiro's zone, Viriato Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Faria came out of the goal and Viriato Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Faria made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Viriato Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. António Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Faro in the 33rd minute of play. If José Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bicheiro's Pedro Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Pacheco made a kick off. In the 54th minute Pedro Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Henrique Faro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of António Nascimento. Montes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrique Faro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 62ndth minute of the game Viriato Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bicheiro's Manuel Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Ferreira in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Nascimento saved Montes FC from getting behind. António Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Henrique Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Montes FC's Alberto Leiria got a free kick in the 78th minute. Alfredo Dantas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for António Nascimento. Montes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Henrique Faro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. António Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bicheiro. Manuel Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pacheco in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Nuno Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bicheiro booed when Montes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
