Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Cabral started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Joel Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Sousa in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match, Manuel Gaspar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amílcar Torres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. SC Sucres's Emílio Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heitor Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Gomes having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Manuel Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Arrabis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Carlos Cabral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amílcar Torres. Carlos Cabral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Carlos Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Arrabis's Joel Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Miranda in the 26th minute of play. Manuel Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. SC Arrabis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Veiga in the 40th minute. The supporters of SC Arrabis booed when SC Sucres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Heitor Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Gomes was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emílio Miranda was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of SC Sucres booed when SC Arrabis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amílcar Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Emílio Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the SC Sucres defense, Manuel Gaspar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amílcar Torres. The SC Sucres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amílcar Torres should have stopped the shot. After 88 played minutes SC Sucres got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Cunha. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Emílio Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sucres's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Miranda in the 94th minute of play forced SC Arrabis's goalkeeper Joel Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Arrabis were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Sucres for a fine match.
