After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Marco Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beirolas's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Assunção breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Dantas scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Resende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Beirolas players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
