An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Leal in the 5th minute of play forced Cabecudo's goalkeeper Miguel Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Noselos FC's zone, Tiago Ferro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Dias came out of the goal and Tiago Ferro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cabecudo booed when Noselos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Henrique Dias made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Tiago Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabecudo's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Ferro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Mota hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Alexandre Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Tiago Ferro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Henrique Dias to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 28 minutes, Raul Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noselos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Martins having to interfere. If Raul Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Diamantino Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noselos FC's Henrique Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Noselos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Daniel Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrique Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Ferro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Mota in the 56th minute of the match. Raul Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Miguel Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Miguel Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diamantino Leal's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Henrique Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Ferro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Dias took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Martins. Miguel Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Daniel Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Henrique Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
