Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th match minute, Becos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. Inácio Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Inácio Domingues sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Santarém in the 8th minute of play forced Becos's goalkeeper Inácio Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Fernandes having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Júlio Fontes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Portejoes's Pedro Costa. Pedro Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Júlio Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Inácio Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Fontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Fontes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Júlio Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Costa having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Portejoes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Pedro Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute Júlio Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Becos's Júlio Fontes in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portejoes's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Vieira was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Portejoes getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Cristóvão Ferreira hit a great ball. Pedro Costa made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Júlio Fontes sent off a good shot on target. Becos's Afonso Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Vieira hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Humberto Santarém might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inácio Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Santarém ran back to his position shaking his head. Inácio Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Fernandes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Inácio Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Becos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Anjos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inácio Fernandes. Becos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Inácio Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Becos got a freekick which was hit by Mário Rocha. Humberto Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Fernandes having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Humberto Santarém got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Becos's Inácio Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Domingues in the 80th minute of play. Pedro Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Vieira in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Portejoes's Pedro Costa got control of the ball when Júlio Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute Inácio Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Domingues in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inácio Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inácio Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Humberto Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
