The SC Amoreiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Vítor Campos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Lisei's Delfim Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 28 played minutes SC Lisei got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Sousa. Delfim Cruz went to the wrong direction when Américo Santarém was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Amoreiras's zone, Joaquim Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Almeida came out of the goal and Joaquim Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Rui Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, SC Lisei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Moura to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes of play, SC Lisei's Joaquim Moura made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Lisei booed when SC Amoreiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Vítor Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
