Paulo Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. João Amaro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Armoniz FC's Jorge Cruz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mário Soares but with some difficulty. In the 99th minute, Armoniz FC's Amadeu Sousa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mário Soares. Mário Soares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
