Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquim Cardoso started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Valente during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Formigais booed when Gadunho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Formigais's André Costa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gadunho FC. In the 12th minute, SC Formigais's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tiago Branco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Joaquim Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the SC Formigais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Torres having to interfere. Diogo Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Amaral in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Joaquim Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Diogo Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Formigais's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eusébio Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Diogo Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Branco in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Joaquim Cardoso notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gadunho FC's António Viegas. António Viegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Joaquim Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Domingos Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. António Viegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Cardoso in the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Formigais had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
