Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Artur Andrade got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Diogo Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vairao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Vairao FC booed when Soutelinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Assis came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Soutelinhos's Artur Andrade. But to his dismay, Artur Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Artur Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Amaral in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vairao FC's zone, Artur Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Assis came out of the goal and Artur Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Soutelinhos getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emanuel Paiva hit a great ball. Artur Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Assis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Vairao FC's zone, Artur Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Assis came out of the goal and Artur Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Artur Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Diogo Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vairao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diogo Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Sandro Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Artur Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Almeida to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Gil Almeida notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Soutelinhos's Sandro Gomes. Sandro Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sandro Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Almeida in the 62nd minute of play. Sandro Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Almeida's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 65 minutes, Artur Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soutelinhos and the Vairao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Soutelinhos's Artur Mota got a free kick in the 65th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Diogo Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vairao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Almeida in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gil Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Gomes having to interfere. Filipe Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Assis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Andrade in the 86th minute of play forced Vairao FC's goalkeeper Pedro Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Soutelinhos booed when Vairao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vairao FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Soutelinhos had controlled the match.
