Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vítor Brás kicked off to start the match. When Vasco Trindade came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the SC Betunes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Trindade couldn't finish the play. After 6 minutes, José Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vaqueira FC and the SC Betunes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Vaqueira FC got a freekick which was hit by José Sousa. Vasco Trindade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Figueiredo having to make a save. Vítor Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Figueiredo having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, SC Betunes's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Assunção came free, but António Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Betunes's Afonso Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vítor Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Borba in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Américo Borba was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vaqueira FC's goalkeeper Raul Figueiredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Afonso Vale fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Betunes's protests and gave Afonso Vale a yellow card for diving instead. António Barros was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Duarte Matias fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vaqueira FC's protests and gave Duarte Matias a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vaqueira FC's Duarte Matias got a free kick in the 65th minute. Vasco Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Afonso Vale was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. In the 69th minute, Afonso Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Betunes's António Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Borba in the 71st minute of play. If Américo Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vaqueira FC's Américo Borba in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Betunes's goalie prevented a goal. Cristóvão Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Betunes getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cristóvão Oliveira hit a great ball. SC Betunes's António Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save SC Betunes from getting a goal against them. António Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Borba in the 91st minute of play. Rafael Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vaqueira FC booed when SC Betunes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, António Barros sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Betunes's António Campos didn't even have to move. SC Betunes were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
