Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gil Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Trindade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Brancos short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Humberto Trindade to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. André Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ricardo Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Reis in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 85thth minute of the game André Leiria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almalaguez FC's Ricardo Resende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Gil Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almalaguez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Codeceiro FC the free kick. Gil Paiva hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, Almalaguez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Branco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Trindade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Sandro Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
