Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Figueiredo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílcar Simões during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes SC Montarroio got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Simões. In the 6th minute, SC Montarroio's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after André Mendes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Miguel Moutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Figueiredo went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute Xavier Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute SC Montarroio were awarded a corner. Afonso Pinto went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eusébio Magalhães got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Moutinho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Alexandre Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Figueiredo in the 18th minute of play. SC Marim's Miguel Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Figueiredo in the 21st minute of play. Fábio Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Jesus in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Xavier Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Moutinho having to interfere. Carlos Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Miguel Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Marim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Montarroio were winning 0-2.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Montarroio walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
