Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Óscar Setúbal made the kick off which started today's match. Mendo FC's Mariano Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Figueiredo in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Mendo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Figueiredo came free, but Mariano Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 8 in the game by Rui Tavares from a close distance when the talented Xavier Aguiar managed to make a qualified save. Zouparria's players were relieved. Paulo Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mariano Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavier Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Raul Moreira sent off a good shot on target. Mendo FC's Raul Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zouparria's Xavier Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Tavares in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Zouparria's Xavier Aguiar got control of the ball when Raul Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mendo FC booed when Zouparria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mendo FC's Nuno Delgado tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Óscar Setúbal took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Brito. Mariano Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Paulo Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Zouparria's Eusébio Fontes got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Tavares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Óscar Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Brito having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Zouparria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 58 minutes, Raul Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mendo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Zouparria getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eusébio Fontes hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mendo FC's Nuno Delgado tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Raul Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulo Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavier Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Paulo Figueiredo came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mariano Brito could save by the left post. Raul Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Aguiar having to interfere. Paulo Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Mariano Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zouparria. In the 94th minute, Zouparria's Gabriel Nascimento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The Mendo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zouparria's performance. The match ended with a win for Zouparria.
