Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marco Borges got the match started through his kick off. If André Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 6thth minute of the game Marco Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roucas's Alexandre Setúbal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodrigo Setúbal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Jorge Sá made a huge save. Rodrigo Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes Roucas got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Esteves. In the 16th minute of the match Mariano Rodrigues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Setúbal skillfully saved the ball. Rodrigo Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrigo Setúbal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Sá. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. André Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Sá read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Rodrigo Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute André Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jorge Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Marco Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Messegaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Setúbal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Amorim to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Messegaes's Cândido Borges got a free kick in the 60th minute. Amadeu Porto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Sá. Messegaes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If André Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Borges in the 70th minute of play forced Roucas's goalkeeper Alexandre Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Machado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Alexandre Setúbal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hélder Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Alexandre Setúbal made a huge save. Alexandre Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Roucas's zone, Marco Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Setúbal came out of the goal and Marco Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
