Hélder Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Ozao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Domingues came free, but Hélder Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rogério Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Lopes during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute Armindo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ozao FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alberto Nogueira hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Ozao FC's Rogério Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonçalo Henriques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, Ozao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Borges to maneuver through the defense. If Alexandre Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes of play, SC Chelreira's Alexandre Oliveira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélder Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Afonso Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Branco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ozao FC's zone, Armindo Domingues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Branco came out of the goal and Armindo Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Hélder Branco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pedro Azevedo. Alberto Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Chelreira booed when Ozao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Azevedo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armindo Domingues in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If António Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the game, Emílio Leal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Chelreira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ozao FC the free kick. A collision led to SC Chelreira getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Emílio Leal hit a great ball. Gonçalo Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Barbosa in the 75th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Alexandre Oliveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Chelreira and the Ozao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ozao FC booed when SC Chelreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Barbosa in the 88th minute of play forced SC Chelreira's goalkeeper Gonçalo Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Henriques having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Pedro Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Chelreira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ozao FC the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Domingues got free with Hélder Branco in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
