Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amadeu Paiva kicked off to start the match. Pedro Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Alge booed when SC Mogoito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrique Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. António Soares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Pedro Carvalho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Henrique Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Amaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 16 minutes, Ricardo Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Mogoito and the Alge players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alge booed when SC Mogoito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrique Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Carvalho having to interfere. If Domingos Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
In the 53rd match minute, Alge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Oliveira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Domingos Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Soares in the 57th minute of play forced SC Mogoito's goalkeeper Pedro Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Amaro struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Pedro Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alge. Óscar Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, SC Mogoito's Filipe Oliveira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Alge's Paulo Carneiro got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Amadeu Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. João Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Mogoito's Amadeu Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but João Mendes made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Alge had won after a very even match.
