Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Catarino Mota started the match with the kick off. Armando Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, SC Espeses's Armando Anjos got control of the ball when Viriato Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Leite in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Sobreposta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Costa came free, but Adolfo Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute, Viriato Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Espeses! Armando Anjos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filipe Faria in the 27th minute. Catarino Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Manuel Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, SC Espeses's David Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute of the match, Catarino Mota tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armando Anjos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Leite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Marco Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Leite in the 57th minute of play forced Sobreposta FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute, David Guerreiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Espeses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 65th minute, Filipe Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Guerreiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Adolfo Fonseca made a huge save. After 71 minutes, Manuel Leite made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sobreposta FC's Adolfo Fonseca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Catarino Mota came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Sobreposta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catarino Mota couldn't finish the play. Armando Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Esteves in the 77th minute of the match. Filipe Faria hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Guerreiro got free with Adolfo Fonseca in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Guerreiro in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, SC Espeses's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Esteves came free, but Armando Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Guerreiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Adolfo Fonseca made a huge save. The Sobreposta FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Espeses's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Espeses.
