Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Eiravade's Rogério Aleixo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hugo Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. The tension between the SC Eiravade and the SC Covinhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes SC Eiravade got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Tavares. If Hugo Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Pinho in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Borges saved SC Eiravade from getting behind. Paulo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eduardo Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Lopes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, one of SC Eiravade:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hugo Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rui Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Coimbra hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Hugo Monteiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rui Borges. Hugo Monteiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Pedro Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Eiravade's protests and gave Pedro Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Eiravade's Pedro Queirós got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rogério Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Eiravade's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Coimbra hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. SC Eiravade's Rogério Aleixo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogério Aleixo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, SC Eiravade's Bento Aguiar got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Monteiro in the 74th minute of play forced SC Eiravade's goalkeeper Rui Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Aleixo in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Delgado saved SC Covinhas from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, SC Covinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Leão to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Eduardo Delgado made a huge save. After having played for 81 minutes, Rogério Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Eiravade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Aleixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Paulo Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Aleixo in the 91st minute of the match. If Pedro Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Covinhas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
