Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Júlio Correia started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Júlio Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Garriapa's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hugo Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Rodrigo Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Rodrigo Coelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amoroso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 20th match minute, SC Garriapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. In the 22ndth minute of the game Rodrigo Coelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Garriapa's Hugo Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Duarte Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Coelho in the 27th minute of the match. If Alexandre Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Garriapa's Delfim Figueiredo pulled a muscle in his back after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Moreira during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Amoroso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Moreira to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes in the game, Alexandre Macedo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Diogo Nascimento having to interfere. Amoroso FC's Diogo Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Amoroso FC from getting a goal against them. Fernando Moreira got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fernando Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th play minute Alexandre Macedo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Diogo Nascimento. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Matias was the one to do the kick off. Amoroso FC's Diogo Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Correia in the 55th minute of play. Emílio Maia hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. SC Garriapa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Duarte Cardoso in the 64th minute. After taking down the ball on SC Garriapa's corner Rafael Almeida fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Diogo Nascimento quite easily take care of the ball. When Alexandre Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the SC Garriapa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Macedo couldn't finish the play. Diogo Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alexandre Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Nascimento having to interfere. Amoroso FC's Alexandre Matias got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alexandre Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
