In the 9th minute, one of Adoufe FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Adoufe FC. Artur Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Monteiro in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Adoufe FC's Emanuel Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Moutinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Melo in the 22nd minute of play forced Adoufe FC's goalkeeper Artur Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Adoufe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Artur Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Adoufe FC defense, Joaquim Monteiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Brito. The Adoufe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Brito should have stopped the shot. If Joaquim Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Magalhães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Perosinho FC's Ricardo Melo in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
