Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Ferreira started the match with the kick off. Paulo Nogueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Augusto Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, SC Grada's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Aleixo came free, but Paulo Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 16 minutes, Cândido Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cortesia FC and the SC Grada players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Cortesia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Marques to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by José Queirós from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Eduardo Sá's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 20 minutes into the match, Cortesia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Gomes came free, but Eduardo Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Nuno Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lucas Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cortesia FC's José Matias got a free kick in the 31st minute. Rogério Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Sá having to interfere. Paulo Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogério Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Sá having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Gomes made a kick off. When Rogério Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the SC Grada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Gomes couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, SC Grada's Lucas Morais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Sá made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Eduardo Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Sá in the 61st minute of the match. Catarino Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Sá read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Rogério Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eduardo Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Aleixo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Cortesia FC booed when SC Grada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Aleixo got free with Paulo Nogueira in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Morais struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Eduardo Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Grada. 93 minutes into the match, Rogério Gomes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cortesia FC's Eduardo Sá. Eduardo Sá was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cortesia FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Grada.
