João Gueifão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Pacheco having to make a save. João Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cristiano Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Acor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Soares came free, but Cristiano Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Trindade in the 14th minute of play forced SC Lameira's goalkeeper Eusébio Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonçalo Trindade in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gil Leiria struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Eusébio Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acor FC. Cristiano Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Carlos Resende notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Acor FC's Cristiano Pacheco. Cristiano Pacheco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute João Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Acor FC's zone, Carlos Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Pacheco came out of the goal and Carlos Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandre Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cristiano Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Resende was the one to do the kick off. Alexandre Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Cristiano Pacheco made a huge save. Cristiano Pacheco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Soares went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to SC Lameira getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. João Gueifão hit a great ball. Eusébio Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Leiria in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Resende in the 62nd minute of play forced Acor FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Resende might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Pacheco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Resende ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandre Soares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Cristiano Pacheco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of SC Lameira booed when Acor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Resende in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Pacheco saved Acor FC from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, SC Lameira's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Leiria came free, but Eusébio Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Alexandre Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Acor FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Miguel Nunes hit a great ball. Acor FC's Cristiano Pacheco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Acor FC from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Miguel Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alexandre Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Lameira walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
