Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Matos in the 3rd minute of play forced Moinhos's goalkeeper Basílio Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Moinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Reis came free, but Basílio Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Eusébio Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Paulo Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amílcar Viana's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henrique Veiga firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Paulo Campos took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Henrique Veiga to make any attempt to save it. Basílio Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Gueifão in the 22nd minute of the match. Casconho's Henrique Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Campos in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Moinhos's zone, Eusébio Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Neves came out of the goal and Eusébio Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Fernando Matos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basílio Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, Casconho's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Campos came free, but Henrique Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílcar Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Veiga having to interfere. Henrique Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílcar Viana went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the game, Lourenço Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Basílio Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Moinhos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Casconho were winning 2-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Matos was the one to do the kick off. Henrique Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Campos in the 58th minute of the match. Eusébio Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Basílio Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Casconho walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
