Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when António Tavares got the match started through his kick off. Gil Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, António Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emílio Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Branco having to interfere. If Rui Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Emílio Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gil Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rui Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Russo's Gil Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Envendos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Freitas to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-0 when António Tavares sped through SC Russo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hélder Brás. When António Guerreiro fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Envendos FC's protests and gave António Guerreiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Envendos FC got a freekick which was hit by António Guerreiro. Gil Andrade scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gil Andrade made the kick off in the second half. Envendos FC's Rui Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Andrade in the 51st minute of play. Jorge Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Tavares in the 60th minute of play forced SC Russo's goalkeeper Hélder Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, SC Russo's goal looked a bit too open when António Tavares came free, but Hélder Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emílio Mota came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the SC Russo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Mota couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Envendos FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. António Tavares hit a great ball. SC Russo were furious when Sandro Garcia was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 74 minutes into the game, one of SC Russo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Pinto in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Brás prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emílio Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Rui Branco made a huge save. SC Russo's Hélder Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Tavares in the 84th minute of play. Rui Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hélder Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, SC Russo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Faria to maneuver through the defense. After 94 minutes of play, Envendos FC's António Tavares made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélder Brás was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Envendos FC had won after a very even match.
