Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Casconho's Armindo Torres got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Henrique Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Andrade in the 4th minute of play. Henrique Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. SC Russo's Hélder Brás proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SC Russo from getting a goal against them. Eusébio Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Brás. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusébio Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Casconho's Fernando Matos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Albertino Torres hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Henrique Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Brás acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luís Viegas. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Fernando Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Casconho's Jaime Freitas got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of SC Russo booed when Casconho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes of play Casconho's Lourenço Reis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Lourenço Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Gil Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Russo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casconho's Henrique Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Casconho from getting a goal against them. If Gil Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Veiga made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Emílio Mota sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Sousa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. Emílio Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Henrique Veiga made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Emílio Mota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrique Veiga. Casconho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emílio Mota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
