If Luís Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luís Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Penteado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Pereira couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, David Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Sérgio Rodrigues's long shot passed Miguel Assunção's right side. It was 1-0, 25 minutes into the match. Simão Gaspar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Luís Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penteado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xavier Cruz made a kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Touvedo FC's Xavier Cruz in the 58th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Adelino Gueifão was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Penteado through an amazing save. Joaquim Gueifão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Adelino Gueifão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Adelino Gueifão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavier Cruz's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 67th match minute, Penteado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Viegas to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Gueifão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Adelino Gueifão made a huge save. Miguel Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Cruz in the 82nd minute of play forced Penteado's goalkeeper Adelino Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Gueifão was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xavier Cruz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 87 minute of play.
