After a defensive mix-up in Traveira's zone, Basílio Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Vieira came out of the goal and Basílio Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Traveira's goalkeeper André Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Daniel Ribeiro notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Nabais's Albertino Nogueira. Albertino Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rui Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Traveira's André Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Esteves in the 64th minute of play. Inácio Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Gonçalves in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the game, Duarte Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Traveira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nabais the free kick. A collision led to Traveira getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Duarte Paredes hit a great ball. If Duarte Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. André Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Traveira's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Gonçalves came free, but André Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Esteves took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Vieira. André Vieira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After a rather tough play, Traveira's Rui Cruz got a free kick in the 91st minute. André Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Basílio Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
