Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vítor Guarda started the match with the kick off. The supporters of SC Arroia booed when SC Tortola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Miguel Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Guarda in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasco Henriques saved SC Arroia from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Pedro Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, SC Arroia's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Guarda came free, but Vasco Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SC Arroia's Vasco Henriques got control of the ball when José Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Miguel Anjos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. After 30 played minutes SC Tortola got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Anjos. The supporters of SC Tortola booed when SC Arroia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fábio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Arroia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when José Garcia scored to the left of an out of position Vasco Henriques, making the score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Nogueira to make the kick off. Cláudio Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Pedro Santarém in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nuno Lima, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nuno Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábio Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. A collision led to SC Arroia getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. António Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 65th minute SC Tortola were awarded a corner. José Amaral went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 66th minute, Domingos Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Lima having to interfere. If José Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Daniel Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Tortola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Arroia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Tortola.
