Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Castro took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Tinocos's Armindo Cruz got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Humberto Borba sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Tinocos's João Ramos didn't even have to move. Pedro Pinto's late challenge caught a SC Tinocos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Pinto helped the player get up and apologised. If Adelino Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, SC Furadouro's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Domingues came free, but Heitor Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, SC Tinocos's goal looked a bit too open when David Castro came free, but João Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Tinocos's João Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Castro in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Manuel Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Tinocos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Manuel Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes SC Furadouro got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Esteves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Ferreira in the 29th minute of play forced SC Furadouro's goalkeeper Heitor Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If David Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Mota having to interfere. With his leg João Ramos managed to avoid a goal in the 50thth minute, when SC Furadouro's Joaquim Esteves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Domingues to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Vaz during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Daniel Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Tavares hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. SC Tinocos's Manuel Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armindo Cruz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Ferreira during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Tinocos's Augusto Ferreira got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Daniel Vaz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. In the 67th match minute, SC Tinocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Tavares to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Pedro Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When David Castro came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the SC Furadouro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Castro couldn't finish the play. In the 78thth minute of the game Manuel Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Furadouro's Heitor Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Furadouro's Humberto Borba got a free kick in the 79th minute. Heitor Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Almeida in the 80th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Gomes during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emílio Gomes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Augusto Ferreira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Heitor Mota, passed just outside the right post. Manuel Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Mota having to interfere. Manuel Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heitor Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play.
