Amadeu Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lúcio Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sérgio Gueifão went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Sérgio Gueifão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Esteves was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After having played for 89 minutes, Sérgio Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caravelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lúcio Esteves made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Gonçalo Rocha sent off a good shot on target. Lúcio Esteves didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Sérgio Gueifão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 98th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tomás Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. If Sérgio Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 102nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
