Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amadeu Miranda took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Fermelha got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Cunha. In the 4th minute of the match Rui Moura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Ribeiro skillfully saved the ball. Lúcio Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Mota in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, José Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Mota struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Lúcio Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fermelha. Rui Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Miranda in the 17th minute of the match. Ricardo Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Fermelha's Rui Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Moura in the 34th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Jaime Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, SC Umbria's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Mota came free, but Lúcio Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Amadeu Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Pedro Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Fermelha's Amadeu Barros got a free kick in the 68th minute. Gabriel Santaréms short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Rui Ribeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Oliveira during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Fermelha got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Oliveira. Amadeu Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rui Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Santarém could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Rui Ribeiro made a huge save. Rui Ribeiro made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gabriel Santarém sent off a good shot on target. The SC Umbria supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Umbria would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
