Daniel Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, SC Alvaroes's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Costa came free, but Filipe Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Alvaroes's Filipe Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Brito in the 13th minute of play. Raul Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Garcia having to interfere. Álvaro Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Ladreda's Daniel Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Freitas in the 25th minute of play. Álvaro Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Inácio Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Brito in the 32nd minute of play. Mariano Coimbra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Filipe Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. SC Ladreda's Inácio Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Álvaro Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armindo Freitas was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Coimbra in the 52nd minute of play. Filipe Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Inácio Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Garcia having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, SC Alvaroes's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Costa came free, but Filipe Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Brito came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Filipe Garcia could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Álvaro Costa in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inácio Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 minutes of play, SC Alvaroes's Armindo Freitas made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inácio Brito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Filipe Garcia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Filipe Garcia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alexandre Brás. SC Alvaroes's Filipe Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Costa in the 77th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Bruno Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Alvaroes and the SC Ladreda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Bruno Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When %teams%'s Álvaro Costa was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-3 just inside the left pole, 82 minutes into the game. Filipe Garcia was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. SC Alvaroes's Armindo Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SC Alvaroes booed when SC Ladreda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Matias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Inácio Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ladreda's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded SC Ladreda left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Alvaroes.
