Bonaval's Miguel Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Domingues in the 17th minute of play. If Amadeu Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Aleixo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Lucas Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonaval. 29 minutes into the match, Bonaval's goalkeeper Miguel Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Maia. After having played for 30 minutes, Manuel Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonaval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Filipe Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Mancalva's protests and gave Filipe Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bonaval booed when SC Mancalva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Mancalva reached it.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Coelho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 54th minute Gabriel Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Domingues in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bonaval's Manuel Pacheco got a free kick in the 59th minute. A nice corner shot did that Delfim Magalhães got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Correia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, SC Mancalva's Lucas Coelho got control of the ball when Filipe Aleixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, José Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Amadeu Martins dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Coelho, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Amadeu Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Coelho was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
