Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adelino Moniz started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Adolfo Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Palames and the Jueus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Palames's Adolfo Simões got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 4 played minutes Jueus got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Santarém. Simão Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Oliveira's late challenge caught a SC Palames's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. Abel Oliveira hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, SC Palames's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Oliveira came free, but Fábio Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Abel Oliveira fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Fábio Fernandes. In the 14th minute, Armando Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Moniz in the 21st minute of the match. Simão Bessa struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Sebastião Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Palames. Raul Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sebastião Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fábio Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jueus. SC Palames's Fábio Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Moniz in the 35th minute of play. Adolfo Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Fábio Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Moniz in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Jueus's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Bessa came free, but Sebastião Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Santarém in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simão Bessa made a kick off. Simão Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Dantas having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Jueus's Adelino Moniz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Armando Nogueira got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Jueus getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Armando Nogueira hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Simão Bessa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jueus's Sebastião Dantas. Sebastião Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Jueus defense, Raul Santarém kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Dantas. The Jueus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Dantas should have stopped the shot. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jueus! Sebastião Dantas had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Cláudio Lima's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Abel Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94thth minute of the game Simão Bessa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jueus's Sebastião Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Palames's Simão Bessa got a free kick in the 96th minute. SC Palames's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
