Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Beleco's Cristóvão Paiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SC Perdigueira's Luís Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Britos short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Gustavo Garcia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luís Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Nascimento having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, SC Perdigueira's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Paiva came free, but Gustavo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliveira Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Cristóvão Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Beleco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gomes to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beleco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Perdigueira the free kick. The supporters of SC Perdigueira booed when Beleco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cláudio Nascimento came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Perdigueira's Luís Nunes. But to his dismay, Luís Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gustavo Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Paiva in the 44th minute of the match. Gustavo Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Perdigueira walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
