Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bouceiro FC's Mário Mendes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Albertino Machado made a precise shot to the right of José Luz. SC Murgeira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 13 minutes, Mário Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bouceiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mário Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Bouceiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Mendes couldn't finish the play. SC Murgeira's José Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Mendes in the 17th minute of play. José Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Mendes in the 20th minute of the match. Lourenço Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Bouceiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Assunção. Eusébio Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Alves in the 28th minute of play. If Miguel Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. José Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Murgeira's José Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Machado in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Albertino Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bouceiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, SC Murgeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Neto to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Bouceiro FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenço Alves was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Mário Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. José Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Luz was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Mário Mendes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mário Mendes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 59th minute Lourenço Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Mário Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lourenço Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Lourenço Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Miguel Costa notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Bouceiro FC's Eusébio Andrade. Eusébio Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Mendes in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Murgeira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Henriques was slow to take the kick. During this time Bouceiro FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Henriques got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Luz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 91 minutes into the match, SC Murgeira's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Mendes came free, but José Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
